Cotlands provides the full continuum of care to vulnerable children, with services ranging from home based care of HIV positive children through to end stage palliative care for children with AIDS. Emphasis is placed on supporting the child and their family in the community through various outreach programmes, which include home based care, orphan care, counselling services and nutrition.
Health Unlimited was founded in 1984 to support communities affected by war or conflict in their efforts to achieve better health and well-being. Today, HU works in 15 countries across Africa, Asia and Latin America, and 95% of our staff are local people. In 2005/06 HU provided health care to 2.5 million people.
Task Brasil Trust was established in the UK in 1992 in response to the situation of the street children of Brazil. Its projects improve the lives and support the needs of children and pregnant girls living on the streets. Task Brasil Trust works directly with children living on the streets.
Downside Up works with children with Down syndrome from birth to seven years old and their families in Russia. Downside Up's programmes fulfil the need for the social care, early intervention and educational services that the Russian state does not provide. Today about 1000 families receive free direct support at Downside Up Early Intervention Centre in Moscow.

EMpower's mission is to provide disadvantaged young people in EM countries with the resources, skills mentorship and opportunities to improve their lives and in turn better their families, communities, and the world around them. The focus is on young people and the four critical building blocks for their future - education, health, economic opportunities and leadership.
